The Gallon Pot was once called Burroughs (our Burrough's Bar remembers this) and owned by William Norton Burroughs. It gained a high reputation for its wines and spirits, something we continue to this day. The success of the original Burroughs was all the more remarkable because William Burroughs would close up whenever he felt like it, sometimes limiting customers to just one drink on busy days. This is a tradition that we don't follow!! We are open all day, offering and extensive range of beers, wines, spirit and a selection of scrumptious food.
