Great Yarmouth's Central beach This wide, sandy beach with promenade has cafés, shops and other amenities. The adjacent Marina Leisure Centre provides family facilities, including a wave pool. Deckchair hire and children's activities are available on the beach, with seating on the promenade
Gorleston has a sandy beach located between the southern harbour pier and the ravine access from Marine Parade. Family needs are catered for by the adjoining shops, cafés, amusements and amenity areas. The town centre is five minutes' walk and cliff top walks, overlooking the lower esplanade and sea, are easily accessible.
Both beaches at Great Yarmouth have been awarded ENCAMS Seaside Awards.
